Milwaukee Parent and Child Services is comprised of foster and adoptive parents, social workers and ordinary individuals who understand life happens. Milwaukee Parent and Child Services is cognizant of how individuals grow and mature during the different stages of their lives. We understand, the person you were in your past, is not the person you are today. Here at Milwaukee Parent and Child Services, we look at the individual not the circumstances. We've all made mistakes and we all have regrets, but life goes on. The people we encounter throughout our lives will either help us or hinder us. Old Fashion Family Sevices, is here to help.
“During our lives, we all begin as caterpillars. It is through nurturing, guidance and support we emerge from our cocoons, butterflies”
Majunga Ray Watts
Sitting and observing as her foster children visited with their mother in a cramped, cluttered, and unorganized room, Majunga Ray felt a sadness in her heart, "how can any family rebuild in a space so depressing". It was at that moment, Majunga Ray knew what needed to be done. Majunga Ray set out to create a space that "resembled home", somewhere familiar, somewhere a child could forget about their sadness and a parent could find some sense of normalcy in their journey to restore hope in their children, rebuild their families and learn to forgive themselves.
The purpose of supervised visitation is to ensure that parents have an opportunity to maintain contact and rebuild relationships with their children in a structured environment that is both safe and comfortable. These individualized services are designed to address identified safety threats, risks and required behavioral changes
Milwaukee Parent and Child Services created a space that is more than a visiting site, parents and their children can engage in arts and crafts, prepare meals and desserts or enjoy time alone in a private family room with games, books and toys. The possibilities are endless!

What is a Life Coach: A life coach is a type of wellness professional who helps people make progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. Life coaches aid their clients in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day struggles. A life coach partners with you in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximize your personal and professional potential.
What a Life Coach Can Do for You: One of the main benefits of working with a life coach is the ability to gain a fresh, informed perspective on problems that you face. In addition to offering new insight into challenges, a life coach can help you to zero in on negative patterns that could be standing in the way of your success. A good coach can recognize when you get stuck, and help you regain motivation.
If you’re experiencing symptoms of a mental health issue (such as feelings of hopelessness, difficulty concentrating, sleep disruption, and mood disturbance), it’s crucial to consult a mental health professional as soon as possible.
*A life coach is not a therapist and does not treat any type of mental health condition.
